Laura Jane Grace Teases New Album
Laura Jane Grace is teasing her upcoming album “Adventure Club,” which is set to be released via Polyvinyl Record Co. The album features twelve tracks that were crafted during a songwriting retreat in Greece.
Collaboration and New Single
The album emerged from Grace’s work with the Onassis Foundation, which initially invited her to Greece to transform the poem “Walls” by Konstantin P. Kavafi into a song for a documentary. After a brief collaboration with local musicians, Grace returned to Athens for a residency, where she worked alongside her wife, Paris Campbell Grace, and Greek musicians Jacke Focas and Odobadin Lagadinos to produce a complete album.
Grace recently unveiled a new single titled “Active Injury,” which delves into themes related to past conflicts. The track features vocals from Paris Campbell Grace, along with contributions from Fokas and Lagadinos on drums.
