Album Update from Lana Del Rey
Lana Del Rey has informed her fans that her forthcoming album will not arrive as scheduled and that it will feature a new title when it does.
Details About the New Single
The day after releasing her new single “Henry, Come On,” del Rey took to Instagram to discuss the song’s recording and provide more information about her upcoming album, which was initially titled Lasso. Just yesterday, she indicated the album’s name had changed again to “The Correct Man will Remain,” with a release date initially set for May 21.
At the conclusion of her video message, Del Rey expressed her hope to complete it soon, mentioning her participation at an upcoming country festival. She quipped, “Should I even tell you that the name has changed again? Maybe I’ll wait.”
Additionally, she announced that another single from the “Blue Bird” album is expected to drop sometime next week. Watch her video message below.
Recent Releases and Upcoming Performances
With the recent release of “Henry, Come On,” eagle-eyed fans have noted that the cover art resembles an iPhone screen.
Del Rey had previously informed fans on Instagram that the forthcoming album would consist of 13 tracks, including “Henry, Come On” and “Blue Bird.”
The singer, known for her song “West Coast,” confirmed that her new record will include contributions from well-known collaborators such as Jack Antonoff and country artist Luke Leard. While the album had originally been slated to be titled Lasso, it seems that title has also changed.
“Henry, Come On” marks her first solo release in two years, following her collaboration with Quavo on “Hard” last July.
Lana Del Rey spoke with NME about the album in May of last year, suggesting that the lyrics of the forthcoming LP may be simpler than her previous works. “Perhaps I’m expressing less from a personal development perspective, like in ‘Tunnel’ or ‘Blue Banns’ or ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club,’ and leaning more towards melodic content,” she stated. “Maybe it’s more in line with an Americana songwriting style.”

Since then, the album’s sound, release date, and title have been the subject of speculation. Del Rey initially indicated that the project would debut in October of last year but later admitted to a delay, following her instincts after sensing a “literal energy pause.”
This summer, the artist behind “Cherry” is also set to embark on a stadium tour in the UK and Ireland, with all dates scheduled in support of the new album. By the end of 2024, Del Rey will become one of the best-selling solo artists of 2025, as concert ticket sales soar.
After announcing major concert dates in Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin, and London, the overwhelming demand led to the addition of a second show in the capital city of Great Britain.
