Lana Del Rey’s New Song Debut
Lana Del Rey unveiled a new song from her upcoming album during her performance at Stagecoach, featuring a cheeky line about kissing Morgan Wallen. Check it out below.
Latest Tracks and Performance Highlights
So far, the singer has released two tracks from her forthcoming album that embraces a country sound: “Bluebird” and “Henry.” Fans were treated to another sneak peek during her appearance at the Stagecoach festival last night (April 25).
'57 .5.I received 57.5 million listeners on Spotify. The song features her sardonic take on the “secrets of success,” while also reflecting on the current state of the music industry.
The most captivating moment of the performance came from the bridge of the song, which she introduced with, “This is the last time I’m going to say this line,” before delivering the lyrics: “I kissed Morgan Wallen/I think I kissed me as it were to his head/if you want my secret to success, do not go with him when you go west.“
This performance follows a string of controversies surrounding Wallen. In 2021, he was recorded using a racial slur, which he later claimed was meant to be playful. In 2023, he was arrested for throwing a chair from a rooftop bar in Nashville and drew backlash for abruptly leaving the stage during a SNL appearance.

Del Rey previously mentioned that the new album would largely showcase country sounds, while incorporating elements from various genres. The official tracklist is yet to be revealed.
The upcoming album, her 10th, was announced last year, initially under the title “The Right Person Will Stay,” and previously as “Lasso.” Following her 2023 release of “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd,” the album was expected to drop on May 21. However, Del Rey later informed fans that the album will not arrive promptly and that it will have a new title once released.
“I mean, you know that this will not come on time, right?” the Grammy nominee quipped in an Instagram post. “Like, so that I even told you that the name has changed again?”
“Henry, Come” marks her first solo release in two years, following her collaboration with Quavo, “Hard,” in July of the previous year. The singer discussed the album with NME last May, hinting that the lyrics may be simpler compared to her recent works.

“Perhaps I’m choosing to say less from a self-exploratory perspective, like with ‘Tunnel’ or ‘Blue Banisters’ or ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club,’ and focusing more on melody,” she shared. “Maybe it leans more towards the American songwriting style?”
Del Rey had earlier announced that the project was set to drop in October last year, but later shifted to a more indefinite timeline, explaining that she was guided by her instincts after experiencing a “literal energy pause.”
In other news, the artist is set to embark on a stadium tour across the UK and Ireland this summer.
Following the announcement of major concerts in Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin, and London, the high demand prompted the addition of a second show in the British capital.
