Lauphi’s New Single
Lauphi is back with a new single ‘Positive Side’, marking his first original release following the Grammy-nominated album ‘Closed’ and its expanded version “Closed: The Edition of the Goddess.”

The Icelandic-Chinese artist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist’s latest track comes with a video directed by Jason Lester, who has previously collaborated with Lauphi on the visual effects for “From the Very Beginning” and “Santa-Malysh”. Filmed on 35mm film, the video captures Lauphi at a masquerade ball that gradually transitions into a surreal, hellish landscape.
Song Inspiration
“Silver Lining” is a song about how love can free your true self, letting your inner child emerge,” Lauphi shares. “Love can inspire you and push you towards your desires. Even if it leads you to hell, at least you have your partner with you.”
