Lady Gaga’s Upcoming Performance
Lady Gaga has officially announced a complimentary show at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, marking her first live performance in Brazil since 2012.
Event Details and Album Release
The performance titled “MayHem on the Beach” is set to take place on May 3 at Copacabana Beach, close to the Belmond Copacabana Palace. Viewers can catch the live broadcast on Multishow and TV Globo, starting at 9 PM BRT (1:00 BST). This event is part of Todo Mundo No Rio, a new initiative presented by Bonus Track in partnership with Corona to showcase entertainment in Rio de Janeiro.
Gaga will be utilizing a specially built stage, and priority entry will be given to the public. This performance coincides with the release of her seventh studio album, “Mayhem,” which is scheduled to drop on March 7. This new record follows “Chromatica” (2020) and “Harlequin” (2024), and features three singles: “Die with a Smile” featuring Bruno Mars, “Disease,” and “Abracadabra.” The album also includes a collaboration with Hesaffelstein.
“It is a great honor for me to perform in Rio. Throughout my career, fans in Brazil have been a crucial part of my journey,” Gaga expressed on Instagram. “I have longed to return and was devastated when I had to cancel years ago due to hospitalization. Your understanding during my healing process meant everything to me. Now I am back and feeling better than ever, working hard to ensure this will be a show you will never forget. Get ready for chaos on the beach!”
