Lady Gaga’s New Song Encountered in ESPN Ad

Lady Gaga fans discovered a snippet of the upcoming track “Garden of Eden” in an ESPN advertisement.

Details About the New Album

The synthpop song plays alongside a montage of Formula 1 racing clips, with Gaga singing: “Go get your friends and meet me on the floor/aren’t you in sweets? I can get more/DJ, hit the light/take you to the Eden Garden/poisoned apple, bite off.”

This track will feature on Gaga’s new album, ‘Mayhem’, set to release on Friday (March 7), and it is available for pre-order here. The singles released so far include her hit collaboration with Bruno Mars titled “He Will Die With a Smile”, as well as “Illness” and “Abracadabra”.

‘Mayhem’ follows her previous projects, including the 2020 album “Chromatica” and the Joker: Folie à Deux companion album “Harlequin”, released last year.

Gaga’s Musical Evolution and Upcoming Performances

Recently, Gaga elaborated on how “Mayhem” differentiates itself from her previous works. In a teaser for an interview with Low for Apple Music, she stated: “Artpop” (2013) was an atmosphere. “Joanne” (2016) presented a sound, while “Chromatica” (2020) maintained that sound.

“The Fame Monster” (2009) was chaotic, and “Glory” (2008) showcased theatrical pop, while “Born This Way” (2011) embodied a more electric metal ambiance reminiscent of New York,” she explained. “Thus, I put in the effort to create ‘chaos’ to avoid a specific stylistic approach.”

Apart from gearing up for her album release, Lady Gaga delighted fans in Mexico by announcing her first performance in the country in 13 years. On April 26, the pop icon will take the stage at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City, where she is expected to perform several tracks from “Mayhem”.

This announcement followed her plans for a monumental free concert for over a million fans at Copacabana Beach in Rio.

Furthermore, Gaga is set to make a double appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL) the day after the release of “Mayhem”, participating in a lengthy sketch as well as serving as the musical guest.
