Lady Gaga gave her rendition of Lucy Dacus’s recent single “Abracadabra”.

Boygen star shared a glimpse on the Radio 1 New Musical Show with Jack Saunders. She also performed “ankles” and “best assumption” from her latest album, Forever Is Sense.

Dacus’ take on the track received a heartfelt approval from Gaga. In the TikTok comments section, she exclaimed, “I love this so much,” adding a crying smiley. “Wow,” she added, praising the purity of the song.

Later, Dacus shared a screenshot of Gaga’s message on X, captioning it: “I tremble.”

A Review of “Forever”

“Forever” received a four-star review from NME, describing it as an album where she “switches spiky indie for grand chamber-pop” and delightfully unfolds the surge of a new narrative.

“While it radiates a great deal of joy along this journey, ‘Forever – this feeling’ does not shy away from the more terrifying aspects of total obsession,” Dacus sings on the title track. “This feeling is everlasting, and I know it deeply,” she expresses. “Although longing and mortality have long been recurring themes in Dacus’s music, the stakes feel even higher – and more exhilarating – when there’s so much to lose.”

Meanwhile, Gaga recently faced a $100 million lawsuit from a surfing company that claimed she tampered with their logo.

Additionally, she announced a world tour with stops across Great Britain, Europe, and North America.

The dates include three nights at the O2 in London – October 29, 30, and 2, plus a show at Co-Op Live Arena in Manchester on October 7.
