Lady Gaga has confirmed that the sequel to “Telephone,” her collaboration with Beyoncé from 2010, is currently in development.

During a lie detector test with Vanity Fair, Gaga hinted that the second installment is in the works. When asked about Beyoncé’s possible involvement, she responded, “Maybe.”
Open-Ended Original Video
The original music video for “Telephone” concluded with the message “To Be Continued…,” leaving the storyline open for a sequel. Beyoncé seemingly alluded to this continuation during the 2024 Super Bowl, where she teased her upcoming album, Carter Cowboy, featuring a taxi drive scene across a desert landscape that echoes the original video’s narrative.
This announcement comes as Gaga is gearing up for the release of her eighth studio album, “Mayhem,” which includes the singles “Abracadabra,” “Disease,” and a collaboration with Bruno Mars titled “Die with a Smile,” all of which are highlighted by Grammy nominations.
