Kyle Falconer of The View Unveils New Acoustic Album and Releases Captivating Single “Angelina.”

New Album Announcement

The View frontman Kyle Falconer has revealed plans to launch a new acoustic album, titled The One I Love The Most.

Album Details

The record, set to release on Feb. 7, features acoustic renditions of his songs from The View, along with selections from his female-inspired solo tracks. It is available for pre-order here.

The album also features a new track titled “Angelina,” which you can listen to below.

Speaking about the album, Falconer shared: “’The One I Love The Most’ was inspired by an idea I had after opening my own studio in Spain. I reflected on the names of all the girls I wrote about and thought it would make a lovely romantic gesture to collect them in one album for Valentine’s Day. I aimed to present the songs in their purest form, without any production, to capture their true essence.

“It’s gratifying to see the range of emotions on the album, showcasing my highs and lows, from the playful lyrics of ‘Claudia’ to the more profound sentiment in ‘Kelly’ as I experienced more of the world.”

The album includes tracks from The View’s debut album, Hats Off To The Buskers, up to their 2023 release, Exorcism Of Youth.

It was recorded at Falconer’s La Sierra Casa retreat near Alicante, Spain, where he took charge of the production and performed all vocals and instrumentation, excluding contributions from Drew Palmer and Niv Zahra.

The complete track listing for “The One I Love The Most” is as follows:
