Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Turmoil After He Drops Song Featuring Diddy and Their Daughter North

Kanye West’s Recent Controversy

Kanye West is reported to be in a “war” with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian after he released a song featuring Sean “Diddy” Combs and their daughter North.

New Music Release

Kanye West – now legally known as Ye – dropped a new song titled “Lonely roads are still going to Sunshine” on X/Twitter yesterday (March 15). In this post, he claimed that the disgraced rap mogul Diddy, his son Christian “King” Combs, artist Yizi Jasmine Williams, and his own 11-year-old daughter participated in it.

The day prior, Combs had first appeared in court since the charges of sexual trafficking and conspiracy related to prostitution, where he did not plead guilty.

This opens with a voice, which reportedly is Diddy – previously known as Puff Daddy – saying: “I just want to thank you, just taking care of my children, dude,” he states. “Nobody extended their hand, no one called.”

West then replies: “I love you so much, dude. It’s like, you raised me. Even when I didn’t know you, you know what I say?” North hears the rap lyric: “When you see how I shine, then you see the light.

The legitimacy of Combs’ participation in the song is now questionable, partly due to West’s increasingly controversial behavior on social media. Fans have already expressed outrage over his decision to include his daughter in a song with someone facing serious legal issues, as Combs awaits trial beginning May 5.

NME reached out to Combs’ legal team for comments.

There are also questions regarding whether Ye’s voice was used solely in the AI-generated verses. The artist known for “Carnival” recently distanced himself from what he called “AI beef” between Bhad Bhabie and Alabama Barker, after Beibier shared a clip of West appearing to diss, which he later denied.

Before the song was shared, West posted screenshots of text messages that he claimed were between him and Kardashian, who later shared TMZ field.

According to the screenshots, the fashion mogul and reality star stated that she sent documents to West “to ensure she is not in Diddy’s song to protect her,” adding: “One person must trade!”

A subsequent dispute regarding the North-West trademark, which was reportedly established with West’s agreement, led to West telling Kardashian: “Change it, or I will go to war, and neither of us will recover from public consequences.” He concluded: “You will have to kill me.”

NME reached out to West’s representatives for comments.

Yesterday (March 15), he again took to X, stating: “Just seeing how my children look like a visit, it’s as if I were in prison. Seeing my children, I don’t care if I die, whether I’m imprisoned or free, and I’m especially worried about what these celebrities might say about being slaves to Jews.”

This marks another in a series of high-profile posts where he re-examined his apology to the Jewish community for his past anti-Semitic remarks, while continuing to proclaim himself a “Nazi.”

He also wrote: “I love Hitler,” and praised billionaire and X owner Elon Musk as “the most lit man who has ever been on Twitter,” following accusations against the latter regarding Nazism during Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration.

Musk later responded on X, stating (through Sky News): “Honestly, they need the best dirty tricks. The ‘All Hitler’ attack is so tired.”

Meanwhile, the controversial rapper appears to have reverted to his previous comments, sharing on X that “after further thought,” he “realized that I am not a Nazi.” Nonetheless, he was later seen in more swastika clothing, which reappeared on his X page.

Since then, he has teased the return of his Sunday choir and posted a photo of a KKK robe on social media.
