Upon her return from space, she was spotted holding a celestial object, which spurred memes and debates online. Her journey also attracted criticism from fellow celebrities, with actress Olivia Munn calling Perry “gluttonous” and Emily Ratajkowski referring to her flight as a “nasty” venture into space.

Wendy’s fast food chain humorously commented on social media, asking, “Can we send it back?” after Perry’s return.

The relationship between Kesha and Perry has been strained due to a longstanding feud involving Kesha’s battle against Dr. Luke, whom she accused of emotional and sexual abuse. Perry has collaborated with Dr. Luke on several major hits, including “I Kissed a Girl,” “California Gurls,” and “Dark Horse.”

After Kesha filed a lawsuit against him, Dr. Luke denied all allegations and counterclaimed against her, stating she was attempting to escape their recording contract. Perry found herself entangled in the legal drama when Kesha claimed that Perry had also suffered mistreatment from Dr. Luke, a claim Perry firmly rebutted.
