Yesterday (February 10), Compton rapper went down in history, becoming the first solo rapper to catch the desired breakup. SZA joined him and showed cameras from Samuel L. Jackson and Serena Williams.
After performing the head-cat NME, he took third place in the history of the Super Cup – it now turned out that the streaming numbers of Kendrick Lamar received a significant impulse.
Moving Hollywood Reporter, Spotify showed that Kendrick Lamar’s music on the streaming platform observed an overall leap of 175 percent. The rapper, who received a lot of Grimmy Drake Diss, “not like us”, saw a huge increase in streams, rising to a colossal 430 percent.
Some of the other songs that he performed during the break also saw a considerable growth in streaming numbers. ‘MODEST.’ grew by 300 percent, and “All Stars” featuring SZA increased by 290 percent. GNX Cut ‘Man in the Garden’ grew by 260 percent, along with his other Drake collaboration ‘Euphoria’. “Fasten” and “Peekaboo”, both from GNX, also increased by 230 percent.
SZA also experienced an 80 percent leap in her streaming numbers in the United States.
Upcoming Tour
Both Kendrick Lamar and SZA are set to hit the road for a joint tour this year, performing throughout North America from April to June. Shortly after their performance during the Super Bowl break, the duo announced a tour across UK and European stadiums. Lamar’s performance during the break occurred a week after he covered the Grammy 2025, winning five awards – all for “Not Like Us” – including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
