New Single Release
Evil has released a video for their new single Joyride ', featuring “I Kissed a Girl” star Amy Spalding in a unique twist on the classic tale of Thelma and Louise.

The video, directed by Sam Kinsella, follows Katti and Spalding as they embark on a romantic journey in a vintage convertible.
“I don’t think I would have kissed any of these boys if I grew up with positive queer media. There were no gay characters in the program; instead, the narrative would have been different, and queer stories would have flourished,” explains Katti. “It’s crucial that these stories are shared, but we also need queer joy. My experiences of love with a woman have been filled with them. By our nature, we are protective, empathetic, and loving, and there are few things stronger than two women with a common goal.”
SPALDING shares her perspective on the collaboration: “Growing up, I clung to any sapphic representation I could find; they were slim pickings, so I savored every moment. Each source I consumed resonated deeply, but I didn’t fully understand what that meant for my identity. If I had more reference points, perhaps I could have saved myself a lot of pain.”
Joyride marks Katti’s first release following her debut EP “Healing Out of Spite,” which debuted at the end of 2024.
