Kanye West Releases Hully Album
Kanye West has unveiled his latest Hully album in the form of a short film.
Album Format and Distribution
The controversial rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the album today (March 19). It is exclusively available as a short film, ranging from 30 to 45 minutes long, and comes in three versions: “Last,” “Post Hype,” and “Post Post Hype.”
All three versions were streamed for free, utilizing Frame.io, a free software that allows users to comment and upload videos. Kanye’s post shared three separate links for the different versions of the album “Hooligan,” complete with the necessary passwords for access.
You can check them here. It remains uncertain whether the album will be available on traditional digital streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Kanye first announced Bully back in September while listening to China for his album Ty Dolla $ IGN, Vultures 2, and debuted the song “Beauty and the Beast” from the recording.
The album/short film release followed his release of a new song, “Lonely roads are still on Sunshine,” on X/Twitter last week (March 15). In this post, he claimed that the disgraced rap mogul Didi, his son Christian “King” Combs, artist Yizi Jasmine Williams, and his own 11-year-old daughter participated in it. This song sparked a “war” between Kanye and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares North.
This is one of many high-profile posts in which he reconsidered his apology to the Jewish community for his past anti-Semitic remarks, while continually asserting himself as a “Nazi.”
He also stated, “I love Hitler,” while praising billionaire and owner of X Elon Musk as “the most lit man who was ever on Twitter,” following accusations of the latter regarding Nazism during Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration. Musk responded on X, stating (through Sky News): “Honestly, they need the best dirty tricks.”
Meanwhile, the controversial rapper appeared to retract his earlier comments, holding on X to declare that “after further thought,” he “realized that I am not a Nazi.” However, just a few days later, he was spotted wearing clothes adorned with a Swastika on his X page.
Since then, he hinted at the return of his Sunday choir and shared a photograph of a KKK robe on social media.
