Kanye West recently previewed some snippets of his new material, featuring Diddy’s iconic scream and three tracks with his wife.

The Chicago rapper visited 1 OAK club in Tokyo, Japan, where he, alongside artists like The Internet, Justin Laboi, and rapper Justin Jones, played several tracks from the YE catalog from the DJ booth.

He performed a song featuring a vocal from his daughter, North West, sampling Dipset’s ‘Ready’. “Focused on my dreams / I work on them every day / I am ready / I am ready,” echoed through the venue.

Collaborations and Controversies

Another track performed by Ye showcases his rap over ‘Lil Demon’ from his upcoming mixtape, Metstandyp 2024. In the verse, West made a nod to his wife – Bianca Censori – rapping: “Come, damn it, my wife with me / They love to see how I shive!”

Censori, an Australian architect and model, is believed to have married West in a private ceremony in December 2022, although there has been no official marriage license filed.

The couple has captivated media attention these past two years, especially after being spotted in compromising positions and attracting the attention of celebrities like Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne for imitating their antics on Halloween.

Diddy’s Legal Troubles and Future Projects

In another performance, he addressed Diddy, who has been embroiled in legal issues after being arrested in September of last year on serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy currently awaits trial in Brooklyn, New York, where he could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

During the remix of “Magic Don Juan,” West said: “Maybe just appear in the Met Gala in some John Shone,” referencing Diddy’s clothing line.

Diddy has denied all allegations against him. His legal team recently stated that evidence allegedly depicting illicit activity involving the hip-hop star would “prove Mr. Combs’s innocence, as it shows consensual activity among adults”.

It is anticipated that the tracks played by Ye will feature in his forthcoming album titled “Hully,” which he teased during a listening event in China last September. West told the audience: “I have a new album, it is called ‘the bully’.” However, there’s no official release date for the album or individual tracks yet.

According to Hiphopdx, the LP is expected to be filled with beats crafted by the “Heartless” hitmaker. In an Instagram post, he expressed, “This little girl again made me love music (a smiling face with tears emoji). She asked me to make beats for her, so I returned to ASR, cut by blows for her album, and crafted each piece with my bare hands for ‘the bully’.”

He also hinted at a reunion with Mike Dean, a past collaborator who worked with him on the LP “DONDA 2” in 2022. While the release date for “the hooligan” remains unconfirmed, he unveiled a cover that features a black-and-white photograph of his nine-year-old son.

In other news, Nick Cave recently stated that he would like Kanye to play the song “I am God” at his funeral.

Additionally, Ty Dolla $IGN disclosed that he is working on the much-anticipated third installment of his album series alongside West titled ‘Vultures’.
