Kanye West Claims He’s Had the Concept for a Swastika T-Shirt for Over Eight Years

Kanye West’s Controversial Plans

Kanye West stated that he had been planning to release his poorly received Swastika T-shirt for “more than eight years.”

Recent Remarks on X

In a recent grandiose speech on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday evening (February 17), the controversial rapper took aim at the Jewish community again. In one of his first posts of the night, Kanye, who is legally known as Ye, showcased his Swastika T-shirt, which had been removed from his site: “It seems that no one wants to create me in a T-shirt from Vitle.”

This post came after he began selling a plain white T-shirt emblazoned with a large swastika on the chest, labeled as “HH-01” on his website, linked to the phrase “Heil Hitler,” before Shopify subsequently shut down Yeezy’s website.

He further claimed that he had the idea for a controversial T-shirt “for more than eight years” and remarked, “It was so intriguing for me that there was so much programming in the symbol.” He added: “I remember how I went to Japan and gasped when I saw that the swastika was recognized on clothing. It was illegal even to look at it. This is how I was programmed. Then I learned that the swastika had many different meanings and names.”

Kanye’s tirade on Monday evening also mentioned that his last “rampage” was “90 percent Jewish evidence,” alluding to his infamous anti-Semitic remarks from a couple of years ago, which included the startling suggestion that the Jewish community needed to “forgive Hitler” for the Holocaust.

He also referred to his recent social media outbursts earlier this month: “This time I pushed every possible cancellation of the idea.”

“Rampage,” which Kanye refers to, includes his subsequent tweets after Gromis, where he expressed regret to the Jewish community for his past anti-Semitic comments and continued to declare himself “Nazi,” stating: “I am Hitler’s love,” while praising billionaire Elon Musk as “the most illuminated person who was on Twitter,” following accusations against Musk regarding Nazism during Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration.

In further posts, he mocked other marginalized communities, controversially claimed that “slavery is a choice,” and much more. During this spree, his X account was removed and deactivated, leading to the rapper being dropped by his talent agency, along with the resignation of his former chief of staff from Yeezy.

Despite the deactivation, his X page was reactivated last week, and Shopify clarified that the artist’s website was removed due to potential fraud, and not exclusively due to the Swastika T-shirt sales.

Subsequent to Kanye’s rants, Till Dolg $ IGN condemned his hateful speeches, while Charlie Put urged West to cease promoting “incredibly dangerous” messages. Additionally, actor David Schwimmer called for action against the “Nazi” posts filled with hatred coming from the rapper, asserting that inaction was tantamount to complicity.

In a separate instance, he filed a lawsuit for discrimination against a former Yeezy employee, accusing them of sending “Hail Hitler” text messages to a Jewish employee.
