Julien Baker and Torres have released 'Tuesday', the final single from their anticipated joint album “Send the My Way Prayer.”

Exploring Themes of Identity

The track features Torres and delves into the themes of overcoming religious violence and self-identity, particularly in relation to the distinctive American Sound represented in the song. This release follows their previously launched tracks, “Sylvia” and “Sugar in the Tank,” the latter of which made its debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The collaboration between Baker and Torres started in 2016, during a performance at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall. Post-show discussions led to the idea of creating a country album together, which has culminated in this twelve-year collection, blending their unique songwriting styles.
