“Magic” evokes a sense of surrealism—a feeling that life is too good to be true and a dreamy surprise. It conveys the thought that, upon awakening, the anticipation might seem tragic since the present feels overwhelmingly delightful. The song romanticizes the beauty of an ordinary life, serving as a reminder that nothing in life—be it good or bad—is permanent,” the band elaborates.
