Jhené Aiko and Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles have reported losing their homes due to raging wildfires in Los Angeles.

The unprecedented wildfires have caused significant destruction in areas such as the Pacific Palisades and famous Sunset Boulevard. Emergency services are currently battling at least five fires, three of which remain uncontained. Over 180,000 individuals have been evacuated, and there are confirmed reports of five fatalities.

Among those affected are singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko and Tina Knowles. Aiko shared her heartbreaking news on Instagram Stories, stating, “Me and my children’s house are gone. Burned to the ground with all our things inside. Lord have mercy. Thank you that we still have each other. Starting from scratch. My heart is so heavy.”

Tina Knowles also expressed her sorrow, sharing a video taken from her Malibu home, stating, “This is what I looked at on my birthday last weekend from my tiny overwater bungalow in Malibu! This was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred happy place. Now he’s gone!!” She thanked the fire department for their dedication and bravery in saving lives, adding, “I’m so sad for the people who lost five family members. My deepest prayers are with you! For people who have lost their homes and possessions, I can only imagine what it’s like.”
