Jesse Lacey’s Gresse’s Grooming Offers a Series of Tours

New Accusations Against Jessius

Previously, an unsolved accusation of leaving arose against the new frontman Jessius, ahead of the tour of the return of the group.

Earlier this week, the EMO group announced the plans for traveling on a 24-day trip to North America this summer, their first sustainable performance since taking a break in 2017.

Allegations of Misconduct

A completely new one abandoned a public look after accusations of sexual misconduct involving Leice and a minor became public. Soon after, two more women made additional charges.

Leice responded at that time, offering an apology for the “actions of my past,” which, according to him, “caused pain and harm to many people.”

“I want to say that I am very sorry. I do not stand in defense of myself and do not forgive myself. I was selfish, narcissistic, and insensitive in my past, and there are several people who had to carry the burden of my failures,” he stated at that time.

Now, against the backdrop of the group’s reunion news, another woman made a previously unsolved statement of care, claiming that it began in 2005. In a post on Medium, a woman named Ayan spoke in detail about the alleged grooming behavior exhibited by Leice when she was 15 years old.

She claims that Leice requested her contact information after she gave him handmade items during a show. According to her, Ayan and her 16-year-old girlfriend were regularly invited to the group’s tour bus, where Leice became “playful” and “teasing.” During a later confrontation, Leice allegedly told her: “I do not hate you; the truth is that I am in love with you, but you are just not an adult so that I can marry you.”

NME contacted the representatives of Leice for comments on the new accusations.

She then claims that Leice met her and her mother to insist that they keep their relationship a secret. “You have become a close friend, one of my best friends, in fact… And although we understand our relationship, others cannot without more context,” she recounts his words.

Ayan concludes that she does not believe that Completely New should continue their reunion tour. “As far as I know, he still has not acknowledged specific behaviors that were problematic – such as grooming, manipulation, and coercion – and he never reached out to the victims to attempt any form of restitution,” she stated.

A Completely New played a trio of shows at the end of March, following a secret and intimate reunion in December.

The upcoming tour has already sparked controversy: some venues on the tour, reportedly, have disabled comments on their social media posts announcing the shows. See the full list of performances here and find remaining tickets here.
