Still Blooming marks Goldblum’s first musical release since his 2023 EP, which featured collaborations with various stars, including Kelly Clarkson and Mattiel.

In a 2018 interview with NME, Goldblum shared his thoughts about his unexpected journey into jazz music, admitting, “I never thought about making an album really” until an impromptu performance on The Graham Norton Show caught the attention of someone from Decca Records. “It all caught me by surprise,” he added.

Goldblum’s show, Kaos, on Netflix was canceled in October, which led many fans to sign a petition urging the streaming service to reconsider their decision.
