The latest track from the British artist based in Los Angeles delves into the themes of divorce and fractured relationships, inspired by her parents’ separation when she was just 16 years old.
“I wrote this about a divorce. We are discussing the symptoms of broken relationships that often go unspoken. It’s about lingering in the shadows of what used to be, while grieving for what might have been,” Berd explains.
Creative Evolution
This track follows her collaboration with Mura Masa on the EP “Burn the Hard Drive” released in the spring of 2024, representing a notable shift in her artistic direction both personally and creatively.
