Ja Rule Declares His 2025 New Year’s Resolution Will Be ‘Petty’

Ja Rule’s New Year Resolution

Ja Rule shared that his only resolution for 2025 is to be petty.

The New York rapper took to his official X/Twitter account to reveal one change he plans to make in his life in the new year. “My New Year's resolution is to be PETTLE…🤣💯,” he tweeted.

Fan Reactions and Feuds

Fans rushed to comment on his decision, one of them named the rapper's age. “You're 48,” one wrote, to which Ja Rule replied, “I'm technically 12, I can be as petty as I want… 🤣,” referring to his birthday, which falls on February 29.

Another X/Twitter user took the time to bring up the rapper's feud with 50 Cent, tweeting: “Let's be petty with 50 Cent because remember how he bought all your tickets on Groupon just so your show could be empty? Yes, it's petty.”

The “Always On Time” hitmaker was quick to call the user out and ask for proof of 50 Cent's alleged purchase of all the tickets to his show.

“🧢 🧢 🧢 Do you believe this nonsense??? Like I said, I got 10k for ANYONE who can do this stuff and photo crap. What city/location was this show in??? @50cent is a fat liar 😂🤣😭”

Upcoming Tour and New Music

Ja Rule is set to hit the road next year with Nelly on the 2025 Where the Party At Tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Hot in Herre rapper's debut album, “Country Grammar.” The likes of Eve, Chingy, and Jermaine Dupri will also appear as support on select dates. In other news, Ja Rule was denied entry into the UK earlier this year due to his criminal record, which forced him to cancel planned concerts in the country.

He also reflected on his ten-year hiatus from recording music and announced a new album. “Damn, I'm sitting here listening to my new album, which has 12 songs, and I'm a little sad, I shouldn't have stopped making music. I'm sorry,” he wrote.

His latest release, Pain Is Love 2, was released during his incarceration and its release was delayed several times. It was the follow-up to his 2001 album Pain Is Love and sold 3,200 copies in its first week.
