New Additions to BBC Radio 1’s Large Weekend

BBC Radio 1 has unveiled an exciting lineup of new acts for its Large Weekend 2025 event, featuring performances by Aitch, Jay Tracy, Inhaler, and Wolf Alice at the Liverpool festival.

These artists will join the previously announced headliner Sam Fender on Saturday in Sefton Park, alongside Blossoms, Myles Smith, and Tom Odell. On Friday, festival-goers can look forward to performances by Tom Grennan, Biffy Clyro, The NIA Archive, Confidence, and Barry Can’t Swim.

Event Details and Ticket Information

The three-day event is set to take place from May 23 to 25, with an anticipated attendance of over 100,000 music fans in Liverpool. The festival will feature multiple stages, including the main Radio 1 stage and the new Music Scene Radio 1.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale at 17:00 on March 13, priced at £33 plus a booking fee of £4.50. The ticket distribution will be geographically balanced: 50% reserved for Liverpool residents, 40% for those from surrounding areas, and 10% for the rest of the UK.

Additional performers for the final day of the festival will be revealed on Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James on March 12.
