LP “Night Life” has been highlighted as one of NME‘s most anticipated album releases for 2025 this month. It features previously released singles like “More Than Life,” “Lotus Eater,” “Court of Fire,” “Silence That Remains,” and “Ariel.”

Last week, the album received a four-star review from NME, which described it as the band’s “defining work.”

“The band has celebrated its 20-year career, playfully navigating through various musical realms, transitioning from early gothic punk to magnificent shoegaze, vibrant neo-psych, techno-brutalism, and now, dark electric rock. Their peak, it seems, is reconnecting with their roots,” they note.

“Looking back at their discography feels like tracing the journey of The Horrors from the bright stages of morning to the vibrant glory of sunset, returning now to the depths of the darkest night. It seems that this is precisely where they belong.”
