AC/DC Kicks Off Their First North American Tour in Nine Years
AC/DC officially began their first tour of North America in nine years. See below for a complete setlist, along with concert personnel captured by fans.
The PWR UP tour features 13 dates, showcasing how AC/DC crosses the continent over a six-week period, culminating at the Cleveland Field in the Huntington Bank on May 28.
First Performance With New Lineup
This tour marks the group’s first performance with their new lineup, which includes singer Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, drummer Matt Loughran, and new bassist Chris Chainey (of Jane’s Addiction, Alanis Morissette).
Their inaugural show in the United States took place on Thursday evening (April 10) at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Among their albums, the classic Back In Black (1980) featured prominently with five songs. However, it was the opener “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” that set the stage for the evening.
Fan favorites like “Riff Raff” and “Let There Be Rock” featured extended guitar solos from Angus Young, while “TNT” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)” concluded the show as the encore. A complete setlist and some fan-captured images can be found below.

Following their North American tour, the rock veterans will embark on 12 dates across 10 European countries this summer, starting June 26 in Prague and concluding on August 21 in Edinburgh, marking their first concert in Scotland in a decade. Remaining tickets for the Edinburgh show can be purchased here, while other European dates are available here.
The Power Up tour is named after AC/DC’s 2020 album, which is their 17th studio record.
Recently, AC/DC made headlines when Dua Lipa surprised fans at their Melbourne show last month.
In a four-star review of the album, NME stated: “By the time everything accumulates on the ‘Code Red,’ where the group fires on all cylinders, it becomes clear that their persistent refusal to adapt or change is not a flaw. While far from reinventing the wheel, ‘Power Up’ is a jubilant celebration of a heavy rock legacy that has served them well for nearly 50 years. We can only hope it continues in the future.”
