Sony Music Publishing Announces Leadership Changes
Sony Music Publishing has elevated Henry Naldjyan to the position of technological director, effective immediately.
Naldjian will remain located in the company’s Nashville office and will report to the chief information director of Sony Music Publishing, Bill Stark.
Role and Responsibilities
In the press release regarding his promotion, SMP stated that as the technical director, Naldjian will oversee the company’s ongoing technological transformation efforts and drive innovations to support the SMP business strategy.
According to SMP, he will also lead initiatives to promote collaboration among teams to ensure global coordination across the company.
With a career spanning over 34 years, Naldjian has established himself as a pivotal leader within IT teams. Throughout his tenure at SMP, he has been integral to the development, implementation, and management of copyright and royalties.
SMP mentioned that Naldjian has played a significant role as a corporate architect, championing initiatives such as the company’s transition to cloud computing and data-driven projects.
His journey began at CBS Records International as a programmer, and he later joined Sony Music Entertainment to help build and manage their global royalty system before transitioning to SMP.
