Hayley Williams Collaborates with Deftones for a Live Performance of “Minerva” in Nashville

Performance with Haley Williams

Deftones had the pleasure of hosting Haley Williams from Paramore for a live rendition of “Minerva” during their concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena last night.

Details on Collaboration and New Music

This collaboration coincided with the release of the BIS of 20 Deftones on March 26, as the band continues their North American tour alongside Mars Volta. Williams joined Deftones for their performance of “Minerva,” a track from their 2003 album, before the band wrapped up the show with “Boring” and “7 Words.” This marks the second occasion that Williams has performed with the group, following her appearance on the track “Passenger” from the Deftones’ album “White Pony” back in 2010.

Deftones is currently in the process of crafting new material, and lead vocalist Chino Moreno has shared updates about the forthcoming album. “We have a whole record recorded in a musical plan,” reveals Moreno. “And now my work is largely finished. We are actually not in a hurry. We want it to be great. I think this is the most important thing. But it goes, and yes, it is really good.”
