Hard-Fi Celebrates 20 Years
Hard-Fi is set to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'Stars of CCTV' with the launch of a special edition featuring previously unheard material.
Exclusive Format Release
The British band will issue a limited series of Vinyl 2-LP and 2-CD, marking two decades since the recording that launched their career. This collection includes demos like “Hard to Win,” “Move On,” and “Gotta Dase,” alongside B-Sides, live performances, and remixes.
“We were a skinny band, recording in a small, cramped office, but we always knew we had something raw and real,” says frontman Richard Archer. “Stars was our life—watching our friends grapple with tough jobs, the police monitoring us, yet still finding intense experiences at night, immersing ourselves in music, street culture, and the joy of life—an experience familiar to all who find themselves on the outskirts, in the satellite towns across the country.”
The original album, recorded by Archer, Ross Phillips (guitar), Kai Stephens (bass), and Steve Kemp (drums), was previously only available in a limited vinyl release, making this new pressing a significant offering for many fans.
