Hands Like Houses Confront Their Inner Struggles in New Single “Fatally Fractured”

New Single Release

Hands feel like home has unveiled a new single titled “Deadly Broken” from their upcoming album “ATMOSPHERIC S”.

Album Concept and Inspiration

This ambitious 16-track double album is split into four distinct volumes: “Tropo(sphere)”, “Strato(sphere)”, “Meso(sphere)”, and “Thermo(sphere)”, signaling a transformative phase for the band led by Josh Raven.

“This single reflects the pain of losing the love of your life and grappling with the guilt of feeling responsible for her demise due to unmanageable toxicity. The love they represented is now all that remains, alongside the brokenness left behind,” the band elaborates on the powerful themes of their latest track.

The album’s concept emerged during a challenging time for the band. Bassist Joel Tyrrell shares: “Our foundation was shaken, leaving us uncertain about our future as a band. We had to delve deep and communicate our desires. Some of our most cherished memories were with the band, which motivated us to redefine our path.”

“The vision of drifting through various atmospheric layers to explore our collective perceptions and creativity painted a vivid image of our evolution with our new vocalist Josh,” the band adds. “Our aim was not merely to increase volume, but rather to ignite inspiration, leading to the organic layering of sounds. We lifted the self-imposed pressure, allowing the songs to exist as standalone moments within the atmospheric tapestry.”
