Halflives Unveils New Single “BemporLals” from Desiant

Halflives reveals new single

Halflives has unveiled a new single “Immortal”, alongside the announcement of its largest Zagorodov round today.

Upcoming tour across UK and Europe

The Italian Pop Roka project, led by Linda Tattilani, will embark on an extensive tour in the UK and Europe starting in April 2025, following appearances at the Nova Rock and Rock for People Festivals.

Message behind “Immortal”

Speaking about the track “Immortal,” Battlaney explains: “Immortals serve as a rallying cry for minorities, marginalized individuals, non-conformists, and the rejected. It speaks to themes of disobedience, resilience, and self-love. As a lesbian, I’ve experienced the struggles of being part of a minority. Even musicians can feel alienated, as society often fails to appreciate art that challenges the norm. What we create is often dismissed as ‘not real work,’ but it is a vital contribution to the culture and evolution of music.”

Discussing the accompanying music video, she adds: “Two girls who desire to kiss in the video are held back by societal pressures. This visually embodies the song’s message: despite the world’s efforts to suppress us, our existence is indisputable and powerful. Even if they ‘burn us’ or try to erase us, we will only grow louder, more visible, and more authentic. Their attempts to silence us only serve to amplify our presence.”
