Concert for Fire Relief Announced
Haley Williams, Saint-Vincent, Finneas, and several other artists have announced a new concert to benefit forest fire relief efforts in Los Angeles, titled ‘G*Ve Af*CK.’ For the full lineup, see below.
The Impact of Forest Fires
Earlier this month, Los Angeles was engulfed by five simultaneous forest fires, resulting in unprecedented devastation in the region. More than 150,000 residents were compelled to evacuate from their homes, leading to 28 confirmed deaths and 22 individuals reported missing to date.
The concert, named “G*Ve Af*CK La,” was announced on February 5 and will take place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California. In addition to Haley Williams, Saint-Vincent, and Finneas, the performance will feature artists such as Lucy Daku, Muna, Perfume Genius, Linda Lindas, Planet Ghost, Courtney Barnett, Christopher Owens, Regina Watts, and many more.
The concert will be hosted by comedian John K. Riley and promises “unexpected guests” along with DJs Harmony Tividad and Fat Tony. Following the concert, Rico Nasty and Dylan Brady will host the official after-party.
