Haim Announces New Single
Haim revealed that their upcoming single “Relations” is set to be released on March 12.

The trio has been teasing their return to music in recent weeks, initially sharing a clip of the track on TikTok and previewing it at a fan event in London on March 7.
Alongside the announcement, the band released a teaser video, which features scenes from the upcoming music video. The clip showcases the sisters lounging on an orange velvet sofa while Daniel recites the lyrics: “I hear a voice in my head, and he continues to ask why I am in this relationship.” The video transitions through various scenes, including Daniel driving in a car, scenes in a club, and the three sisters looking directly at the camera.
The group’s last album release was ‘Women in Music Pt. III’ in 2020, although they did share a standalone single titled “Home” in 2023. Their return to music was first hinted at through an Instagram post celebrating Daniel’s birthday, which asked, “(HA) I idle … Haim Single?” accompanied by a video of the trio dancing to M83’s “Midnight City.”
Connection to Iconic Imagery
The artwork appears to reference iconic photos of Nicole Kidman from 2001, rumored to show the actress leaving her lawyer’s office after her divorce from Tom Cruise. Kidman later clarified in British GQ: “It was from a film; it was not real life.”
