Latest Single and Video Release

The Los Angeles-based sister trio returned last month with a fresh track titled “Relations,” featuring a music video showcasing Drew Stark. According to the press release, this new release offers “a contrast with the upcoming Rock Sound album.”

Now, the group has shared a brief preview of yet another new song. This track, still in progress, features a rawer, guitar-driven sound, with frontman Daniel Chaim delivering the lines: “Tenants’ rights, rights of Skvotter/ I will be a gatekeeper for the rest of my life.

He continues with: “I do not want your charity organization/ spend the night in the cold if it holds me free.

The accompanying video emphasizes the message: “This is your sign to leave it.” The tagline for this message reads: “Summer of a lonely girl.” Tune in here:

Over the weekend, Haim hinted at yet another single coming soon, sending a message to their newsletter subscribers: “You guys are ready for another (?).” They then shared a video on TikTok, teasing that a “new song” would be revealed this week (see below).

Haim has not yet announced the release date for their fourth studio album, which will follow their 2020 project, “Women in Music, III.” In a recent interview, the trio revealed that a sample of George Michael’s work will also be featured on the album. The track titled “Gone” is set to be the first release from the new LP, and it reportedly reflects sentiments of clarity after a breakup. Additionally, the album will include a song called “Take Me Back.”

Alana Chaim mentioned in an interview with IDENTIFIER that the forthcoming album is “the closest we’ve ever been to how we wanted to sound,” emphasizing that this time around, it has been a “completely different experience.”

The band has once again collaborated with the producer Growth Batmanlius (known for work with Vampire Weekend and Clairo).

“Working with Growth is generally very quick and kinetic, which I love as an artist,” explained Daniel. “In the past, it wasn’t as fast; it was a little more… lengthy and laborious.”

In other news, Haim has been confirmed to perform at the Big Weekend Radio 1 event in 2025, set to take place in Sefton Park, Liverpool next month. The group is also scheduled to appear at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Porto this summer.

Meanwhile, Daniel Haim has teamed up with Bon Iver on a new single titled “if I could only wait.”
