Gwenno to Lead Festival 2025 Launch

Gwenno is set to head the Festival 2025 launching event at the end of this month.

Green Man Festival Overview

Green Man is the largest independent festival of music, science, and art in Wales, celebrating its 23rd year in 2025. The festival will take place on his estate in Glanguska in Brecon Lighthouses from August 14 to 17. Festival tickets sold out in just 60 minutes back in September. Details regarding the lineup have yet to be announced.

Now, the organizers have disclosed the details for the 2025 lineup announcement, which will occur at an event in Lexington, London, on February 28. The evening will feature live performances from Gwenno, The Bob Dylan Act Boadside Hacks, and the London duo Silver Blood, followed by late-night DJs.

Additionally, attendees will have a chance to win two tickets for Green Man 2025 during a draw at this event. Tickets for the launch can be purchased here.

Recent Highlights and Albums

Gwenno recently acted as an ambassador during the independent meeting week for 2025, which concluded on February 2. The Mercury Award nominee represented Wales and performed a special solo show at Acapela in Cardiff on January 29.

The former Pipettes singer has released three solo albums, with the latest being “Tresor” in 2022, featuring lyrics primarily in her native language.

Last year’s Green Man festival showcased performances from notable acts such as Great Thief, Sampa, Sleaford Mods, and John Hopkins, alongside additional performances from Ezra Collective, Arlo Parks, Jesus and Mary Chain, Black Country, New Road, and Blonds Spoys.

The event also witnessed Juliet Jackson from Big Luna marrying her partner Max on-site, 10 years after they first met at the festival while delivering packages for a secret post office. Max proposed to the singer during their time at Green Man in 2019.
