Guitar.com and Musictech Are Reviving Print with New Magazines

Guitar.com and Musictech Return to Print

NME Networks announced that Guitar.com and Musictech will make their return to print this spring.

New Formats and Release Schedule

After a four-year hiatus, both publications will return in entirely new premium magazine formats and will be featured each time in NMEField.

Celebrating innovative talents and premier music equipment, Guitar.com will launch in print on Thursday, May 29, while Musictech will be available starting Thursday, July 31. These releases will alternate every two months. Thus, each publication will have three print editions throughout the year.

Providing fans with additional value, the magazines will showcase digital covers monthly, highlighting the most remarkable equipment and artists, as well as offering in-depth features, exclusive backstage videos, and social content.

News of NME’s return to print in July 2023 marked the debut of a bi-monthly global publication showcasing the best new artists and bands worldwide, along with exclusive new features, groundbreaking articles, industry news, and expert reviews of recent music, television, film, and gaming releases.

Indie singer and breakthrough artist D4VD was the first to grace the cover, followed by K-Pop megastars Enhypen, Brit Award winner and Mercury Prize recipient Sam Fender, Icelandic-Chinese sensation Laufey, global pop phenomenon Chappell Roan, and many more.

To celebrate the success of this endeavor, NME continued with the release of NME The Cop 2023-2024 in November of last year, a premium coffee table book highlighting a year of exceptional new talent.
