New Release from Greywind
Irish duet Greywind has unveiled their latest single, “Acid Rain,” marking their debut release through FLG.
About the Song
The brother-sister duo, Stef and Paul O’Sullivan, has crafted what they refer to as a cinematic emo anthem. “This song reflects the experience of being in a toxic situation, capturing the overwhelming sense that everything around you is crumbling, something we are all too familiar with,” Steph elaborates.
Paul adds, “We knew immediately that once we finished writing ‘Acid Rain,’ it had to be the first song to kick off the new era of Greywind. It’s cinematic, dramatic, and encompasses everything we adore about music. We wanted it to immerse you in a film-like experience, and now you’re entering our world.”
Previous Works and Performances
This track comes after their EP released in 2024 through Version III, produced by Sam Guyana and Casey Kavalier, the guitarist from The Wonder Years, with the expertise of Mike Kalazhanyan. Their prior work includes the debut album “Consequences,” released in 2017 by Spinefarm.
Recently, Greywind shared the stage with “The Amazing Years” and “Madina Lake” in the UK last December, and they have also completed several tours in the United States alongside Tiny Moving Parts, 408, Boys of Fall, and Telltale.
