Grand Theft Auto 6 was officially announced in December 2023 and is set to be released later this year. While not much has been disclosed, players can expect to return to a Miami-inspired world in Vice City.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Connection

Earlier this week, Megan Thee Stallion shared a behind-the-scenes video from a photo shoot on her Instagram stories. The footage features Megan in a bikini, playfully holding a bottle and posing against a backdrop adorned with palm trees. This setting closely resembles the artwork released for Grand Theft Auto 6, leading fans to speculate that she may be involved in a promotional campaign for the game.

However, shortly after, Megan posted the same video on her Instagram feed as part of her advertisement for her tequila, Chicas Divertidas, leading some fans to question if the collaboration is indeed happening.

Megan Thee Stallion’s track “Cash Shit” is featured in Grand Theft Auto: Online, while fellow rapper Dr. Dre has also released new music through the game under the Contract expansion.

Last year, Schoolboy Q confirmed that his music will be included in Grand Theft Auto 6, following his earlier contribution to GTA 5.

T-Pain hinted at his involvement in the long-anticipated sequel. When fans inquired about Grand Theft Auto Online, he mentioned that he was an active participant in the GTA NoPixel role-play server but had to step back due to potential conflicts of interest as he began working on Grand Theft Auto 6.

Anticipation for the Release

Reports last month indicated that Grand Theft Auto 6 will draw inspiration from virtual worlds such as Fortnite and Roblox, both of which integrate collaborations with high-profile artists.

The latest rumors suggest that a second trailer for the game could be on the way next month, with fans analyzing the release patterns of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 for clues. This comes after Strauss Zelnick, CEO of the publisher for Grand Theft Auto 6, stated that he “felt really good” about the game’s release this year.

In other news, the team behind The Witcher 4 confirmed that the game will not be launching anytime soon.
