This year, comedian Trevor Noah returns to host the event for the fifth consecutive year, and Beyoncé leads the charge with 11 nominations, making her the most nominated artist in Grammy history.
Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter are all scheduled to perform. British artists Cynthia Erivo, RAYE, and Coldplay’s Chris Martin will also be part of the line-up.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are set to deliver a tribute to Los Angeles in light of the devastating wildfires that occurred earlier this year. The ceremony will help raise funds for those affected by those wildfires.
Music legend Stevie Wonder will be leading a tribute to the late Quincy Jones alongside Janelle Monáe.
So far, several major awards have been presented during the Premiere ceremony, including Kendrick Lamar winning the Grammys for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for ‘Not Like Us’, which also took home Best Music Video.
Charli XCX has been nominated for Best Dance Pop Recording for ‘Von Dutch’ and Best Dance/Electronic Album for ‘Brat’. Sabrina Carpenter has claimed the award for Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Espresso’, while Justice and Tame Impala secured the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording with ‘Neverender’.
Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus took home the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for ‘II MOST WANTED’. SZA won Best R&B Song for ‘Saturn’, and The Beatles received Best Rock Performance for ‘Now And Then’.
