Bauhaus and Nine Inch Nails collaboration
Bauhaus “Peter Murphy and Nine Inch Nails Trent Reznor Frontman united on the pulsating new single” Swoon” – check it below.
Track details and release information
The track, part of Murphy’s upcoming solo album, Silver Shade, is set to be released on May 9 through Metropolis Entertainment. It follows his previous collaboration with George Battle, “Let the Flowers Grow.”
Both tracks were produced by Killing Joke’s Youth, along with the entire record. You can pre-order the album here.
Murphy shared his thoughts on the collaboration: “I am both in a state of fainting, like my audience, when I witness my live performance. Trent Reznor kindly accepted my invitation to appear in the song, adding a welcoming atmosphere in the second verse and throughout with his backing vocalizations.”

Nine Inch Nails tour announcement
The duet has a long-standing friendship, dating back to when Reznor’s band opened for Murphy’s “Deep” tour in 1990. Murphy’s last full-length release was in 2014.
In other news, Nine Inch Nails recently announced their tour for the UK, Europe, and North America in 2025, marking the band’s first live performances since 2022.
NIN will kick off the tour in Dublin at 3Arena on June 15, followed by shows at Co-Op Live in Manchester (17) and O2 in London (18).
They will then head to Europe for concerts in Cologne, Deurich, Berlin, Paris, and other cities throughout a month and early July. Nine Inch Nails have also been confirmed to headline Nos Alive in Lisbon and the Mad Cool festival in Madrid.
The North American leg is set to begin in Auckland, California, on August 6, with additional dates in cities such as Portland, Vancouver, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, New York, Nashville, Houston, and Los Angeles. Tickets for the remaining US shows can be purchased here, and UK tickets here.
The group is also set to perform at the Roskilde festival this year, alongside Doechii, Lola Young, and Wet Leg from July 28 to August 5, celebrating the festival’s 53rd edition. You can visit here to buy tickets.
In a recent interview, Reznor revealed that NIN is working on new material. “We are ready to return to the driver’s seat,” he said.
The upcoming record will mark their first release since the unexpected double album, Ambient 2020 “Ghosts V-VI,” which came after the 2018 album “Bad Witch.”
