Collaboration Overview
B2B Music Streaming and Audio Technology Company Tuned Global collaborates with the AI Music Startup Audioshake to offer new functions of artificial intelligence.
The partnership will enable Tuned Global to provide customers with song separation and generate lyrical transcriptions, as announced by the companies on Wednesday (January 29).
Innovative Features for Streaming Services
This collaboration integrates Audioshake AI technology directly into the existing “Global Settings” platform. Streaming services utilizing Tuned Global can now offer their listeners features such as karaoke mode, isolated vocal tracks, and the ability to remix songs by separating them into individual components like drums, bass, and vocals.
“Thanks to this partnership, we provide streaming music and any digital services with a musical component that leverages the leading artificial intelligence from Audioshake, enhancing the interactive side of their offerings, which users expect and appreciate. The stems are a gateway to a vast number of potential innovations,” said Con Raso, Managing Director of Tuned Global.
New features operate in real-time through Tuned Global’s White-Label streaming applications, meaning companies can quickly implement these opportunities without extensive technical examinations. The technology is also accessible via the Tuned Global API for user implementations.
In addition to audio separation, Audioshake’s technology provides lyrical transcriptions, allowing users to search for songs more effectively and enabling platforms to better filter content, according to Tuned Global.
“Today, labels, publishers, and rights holders want to do more with their music—whether it’s for licensing synchronization, track remixes, or attracting fans in new ways. Stem separation is a crucial tool for unlocking these capabilities.”

Music services can leverage these functions to create tailored playlists and offer innovative ways for students to engage with music.
Expanding Opportunities for Clients
The client base of Tuned Global includes major companies from various industries. Current clients, such as Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, and Sony Music, can now access these artificial intelligence functionalities. The company also serves clients in aviation, telecommunications, gaming, and medical technologies.
This partnership comes at a time when digital services are seeking new ways to compete in an expanding market. While extensive music catalogs remain essential, platforms increasingly require interactive features to maintain user engagement.
“Today, labels, publishers, and rights holders want to maximize their music assets—whether it’s for synchronization, remixes, or attracting fans in new ways. Stem separation is a vital tool for unlocking these possibilities,” stated Jessica Powell, Co-founder and CEO of Audioshake.
“By partnering with Tuned Global, we aid digital music projects in fully capitalizing on the potential of audio. Our technology empowers Tuned Global’s clients to connect more effectively with their audiences and drive growth.”
Audioshake has gained recognition for its artificial intelligence technology, winning Sony Soundation’s challenge multiple times and being named in Time‘s list of the best inventions. Leading entertainment companies are already utilizing their technologies, including all three major label groups, as well as film studios and audio engineers.
In 2023, Audioshake raised $2.7 million in a seed round supported by Peremosos, Black Squirrel Partners, and investment firms associated with Metallica, alongside Q Prime, Eric Wasserman, Paul Donahu and others.

In the same year, Audioshake collaborated with Myxt, an audio file management platform, to integrate Audioshake technologies into its suite of tools for musicians.
Last year, Audioshake partnered with Synchtank, a royalty software supplier, to offer music owners the opportunity to create AI-generated stems, and collaborated with the Disney music group to open up their catalog for “new creative and marketing capabilities.”
For Tuned Global, this partnership enhances its offerings for clients following the recent launch of a Social Radio product that combines social interactivity with a personalized music stream.
The Social Radio tool is based on the company’s proprietary Automixiq technology for tracking transitions, comments, and sound effects. Tuned Global is launching its Automixiq SDK in July 2024, following the acquisition of the music tech company Pacemaker in March 2023.
