Girl in Red, Charli XCX, Fontaines D.C., and More Set to Join Chappell Roan at Øya Festival 2025

Oslo’s Øya Festival has revealed its latest wave of artists for 2025: Charli XCX, Queens of the Stone Age, and Girl in Red will take the stage at Tøyenparken.

Festival Details

The event, scheduled from August 5 to 9, will see Charli XCX headlining Thursday night and performing tracks from her album “Brat,” including hits like “360,” “Apple,” and “Guess.” After canceling its 2024 appearance due to illness, Queens of the Stone Age is set to perform on Friday. Girl in Red will close the festival on Saturday, marking a significant achievement after first appearing on the festival’s Library stage in 2018.

Additional acts include Montell Fish, who will showcase material from his album “CHARLOTTE,” along with Irish artists Fontaines DC, who are supporting their album “Romance,” Kneecap, and The Mary Wallopers. Nilufer Yanja rounds out the lineup, joining the previously confirmed Wednesday night headliner Chappell Roan.

Sustainable Practices

Located just ten minutes from the center of Oslo, the festival emphasizes sustainability, operating entirely free of fossil fuels and relying on renewable energy for 98% of its needs. A robust recycling program is also in place, ensuring that 75% of waste is recycled through manual sorting.

Tickets are available at a weekly pass price of NOK 3,999, with discounts for children under 23 at NOK 3,499 and for those aged 12 to 18 at NOK 2,099. Two-day tickets can be purchased for NOK 2,398, while day tickets are priced at NOK 1,299. Additional Øya Pluss upgrades are offered for NOK 1,500, with one-day Pluss upgrades available for NOK 500.
