Gabz Landman Appointed Senior Vice President of A&R at Warner Chappell

Warner Chappell Music Promotes Gabz Landman

Warner Chappell Music (WCM), the global publishing group under Warner Music Group, has elevated Gabz Landman to the position of senior vice president of A&R.

Landman joined WCM in 2022 as vice president of A&R and is based in Los Angeles, reporting to North America President of Warner Chappell, Ryan Press. She has managed a roster that features exceptional artists and songwriters, including Lauphi, John Ryan, Chainmokers, Kenya Grace, Jan Kirkpatrick, Cleo Tig, Eli Rizk, Nolan Lambroza, Carrie K., Justin Tender, and Amy Allen, who recently won Songwriter of the Year at the 2025 Grammys—the first woman to achieve this honor.

Landman’s Contributions and Achievements

Landman has collaborated with Allen for over eight years, playing a vital role in her career development, as noted in a WCM statement on February 18. In 2024, Allen earned the title of Diversity 2024 Songwriter of the Year and secured the No. 1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 Songwriters chart for seven consecutive weeks.

Additionally, Landman was instrumental in bringing on board John Ryan, who wrote and produced eight tracks on Sabrina Carpenter‘s album Short and Sweet, which received two Grammy nominations. She also played a significant role in the rise of Kenya Grace, who dominated the Billboard 2024 Hot Dance/Electronic Songwriters end-of-year chart.

Moreover, she signed jazz singer/songwriter Lauphi, who won her first Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album in 2024 and was recognized as an Diversity Emerging Artist of the Year.

Landman’s Career Journey and Vision

Before her tenure at WCM, Landman held the position of vice president of A&R at Warner Records, and served as creative director at Management Management, where she was pivotal in developing Dua Lipa‘s career. In 2020, she was recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 music list.
