Fuerza Regida Steps Up for Fire Victims

The Mexican-American group Fuerza Regida took the initiative to rent an entire hotel in Los Angeles, providing a safe haven for those affected by devastating wildfires.

Impact of the Wildfires

The catastrophic fires, which ignited on January 7, have claimed the lives of 16 individuals, forced nearly 180,000 residents to evacuate, and caused damage to over 13,400 buildings.

Starting Saturday (January 11), some of those displaced will find shelter in the hotel reserved by Fuerza Regida for a period of six days.

“To our beloved community affected by the Los Angeles fires, we are here for you during this difficult time,” the band expressed in a statement. “We have secured a hotel that can accommodate more than 50 families, and additional space will be available for those in need of shelter. We want you to know that we stand with you and will continue to offer our support. Rooms will be ready at 3:00 PM PT on 1/11/24.”
