Franz Ferdinand Unveils “Hooked,” the Third Track from Their Upcoming Album “The Human Fear”

New single release

Franz Ferdinand has unveiled their latest single, “Hooked,” marking the third track from their anticipated sixth album, “The Human Fear.”

This new release follows earlier singles “Audacious” and “Night Or Day,” emphasizing the band’s distinct post-punk style infused with vibrant synth elements. The song features the lyrics “I thought I knew what love was/But then I met you,” smoothly transitioning into a catchy repeating chorus with “You got me hooked” driven by synthesizers.

Artist insights

“Sliding into the midnight is a song’s night walk. If we all experience human fear, then it’s perfectly fine to be hooked,” remarks frontman Alex Kapranos.
