Rudy Sarzo, a former bassist of Ozzy Osbourne, expressed that it is an “honor” for him to perform at Black Sabbath’s final show.

Final Concert Details

The legendary heavy metal band will hold their last concert at Villa Park in their hometown of Birmingham on Saturday, July 5. This show will feature the group’s most iconic lineup, including frontman Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward, playing live for the first time since December two.

Additionally, an all-star ensemble will join them, featuring talents like Tom Morello, members of Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, recent Grammy winners Gojira, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Jason Momoa, and Rival Sons.

Sarzo, who played bass for Osbourne in the 1980s, recently shared with WDHA-FM 105.5 FM about “returning to the beginning.” He recounted an experience: “I found myself on the road with Quiet Riot playing at a casino in Idaho, and I had just finished dinner with Alex (Grossi).”
