The production of music and platforms for involving fans of Ampollo has announced the details of its new advisory council.
Ampollo, which raised over 2.5 million pounds (3.2 million US dollars) in its initial funding round, is co-founded by Yoram Ben-Israel (CEO), Mark Alexiu (CMO), and Rebekahki Pennington, who leads partnerships, growth, and business development.
The company states that it offers a “unique range of user-friendly tools and capabilities for creators in the music industry.”
Members of the Advisory Council
The new advisory council of Ampollo features prominent figures from the music industry, including Andy Sonders, founder and CEO of Velocity Communications; Emily White, co-founder and senior product manager at Spotify; and Colin Barlow, former Managing Director at RCA and Polydor.
The council also comprises Charles Nielsen, an artist manager and branding specialist; and Charlie Rapino, an international producer and former director of A&R at ONY MUSIC International.
Ampollo explains that the council will “meet quarterly and will serve as a trusted voice and advocate for Ampollo,” providing insights and leadership on essential international matters regarding the company’s presence.
The board, which includes Andy Sonders, “will play a crucial role in guiding Ampollo’s broader global strategy.”
Launched in September 2024, Ampollo provides proprietary studio tools for remixing, collaborative music creation, and “unlocking rewards for both creators and fans.”
Artists, labels, and other rights holders can also sell and distribute music to fans in what Ampollo describes as an “exciting, gamified approach,” opening “new revenue streams for the broader music industry.”
Key features of the platform include STEM separation, video and audio recording, added audio and pre-installed filters, customizable mixing boards, and tools for social network interaction.
Ampollo also assists producers with beats, rhythms, and collaboration capabilities, helps songwriters and performers find session players and producer collaborations, and offers opportunities for professional A&R openings.
“It is a great honor for me to work alongside my fellow council members and the company’s executive team, leveraging their collective wisdom to generate new ideas and opportunities for Ampollo.”
