Flyte Releases New Single “Emily and I” Alongside Cards from Los Angeles

New Single Release

Flight has unveiled their latest single 'Emily and me', marking their second release of 2025 following last month’s “I am not there.”

Recording and Inspiration

The British duo, consisting of There will be Taylor and Nick Hill, crafted this track during an intensive two-month writing period in the countryside with award-winning British producer Itan Jones, recognized for his collaborations with Paul McCartney, Ray Lamontagne, and Laura Marling.

“Emily and I is a postcard from a moose angel to London from two passively British stones, dedicated to our friend Emily,” Taylor shares. “We composed this song in the summer of 2022 during a break in our touring schedule while reconnecting with friends and writing in California. There were fires that year, but nothing like what occurred in January of this year. The atmosphere during this visit was filled with a sense of bliss, yet also the looming threat of a storm.”
