Important Updates on the Tour

Today (March 26), FKA Twigs took to social media to share disappointing news, stating that several upcoming performances in the United States and Canada have been canceled due to visa issues.

“Today I was informed that production did not complete the necessary documentation in a timely manner for us to obtain our visas to enter the United States,” the singer explained. “As a result, I regrettably have to remove New York, Chicago, and Toronto from my tour schedule.”

FKA Twigs further elaborated: “For those curious about the cancellation in Toronto, it’s because this venue is not part of the United States. This situation is quite complicated due to tour routing, which I take very seriously. To be honest, I am completely devastated.”

She also mentioned that she is actively “investigating how and why this occurred” and promised to provide updates regarding the rescheduled dates as soon as she has more information.

FKA Twigs hasn’t performed in the United States since 2019. She was set to take the stage in Chicago later tonight (March 26), followed by a show in Toronto on March 30, and was scheduled to perform in New York on April 3 and 4.

Additionally, she plans to perform in San Francisco on April 19, and it appears that this show will proceed as scheduled, provided her team can resolve the visa issues by then.

Last week (March 21), she brought Eusexua to London, earning a four-star review from NME‘s Alex Rigotti. Rigotti praised the performance, stating: “Dancers hung chains associated with her dress, with all four corners of the box illuminated; Twigs had no choice but to expose her soul to the audience. Ending the set with a song that conveys profound spiritual suffering showcased her magnificent vocal capabilities, making every tremble in her voice deeply impactful and connecting with the audience on a profound level.”

In a glowing five-star review of “Eusexua,” Anisa Ahmed wrote for NME: “Twigs successfully demonstrated that music, movement, mind, soul, and body can be transformed into sound, intertwining these elements into a cohesive and transcendental artistic experience. She brings her distinctive creativity and spirituality to life, materializing the intangible. You have one life to live; do it freely—what more could you ask for?”
