Touring Without Billie

The musician and producer has been with Eilish on tour throughout her career, but her current Hit Me Hard And Soft tour is the first time they are not touring together.

The Grammy and Oscar-winning artist, songwriter, and producer chose not to accompany his sister on tour to promote his second solo album, For Crying Out Loud!, as he prepares for his own solo tour.

In an appearance on The Jake Shane Show Podcast “Terapus”, Finneas discussed the bittersweet nature of not touring with the “What Was I Made For?” singer. “It was very bittersweet. I only decided to do this because I knew I couldn’t be in two places at once. I can’t do my tour and her tour simultaneously, and I don’t want to impede her touring aspirations,” he mentioned.

He also stated: “The best part was that I watched the show multiple times, and it’s fantastic. I think her performance is incredible. It doesn’t suffer at all from my absence. She’s exceptional, and I spent that time writing a couple of songs, but I genuinely believe she’s delivering the best show she’s ever put on. That’s wonderful.”

“I call her regularly. Most of the time, she’s just either working out, relaxing, or doing physical therapy,” he added. “I’m just checking in to make sure she’s okay. I’ve always said, ‘If you ever need me, I’ll fly out just to hang with you and keep you company on the road.’

Connecting Amidst Separation

Although he isn’t on tour with Eilish, Finneas has attended several of her concerts during the ongoing tour, including shows at the Prudential Center in Newark and a three-night engagement at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He is also set to open for her on December 21 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

In an earlier statement regarding performing without her brother for the first time, Eilish told CBS News Anthony Mason, “I’ve never performed without my brother in my life. Without him, I’ve hardly ever performed or sung. I don’t have my parents on the road. They come to visit, and that is wonderful, but I don’t have the same structure I used to have.”

She elaborated on preparing for the tour without Finneas, indicating, “We discussed this two years ago, and our family was aware of it for that long. We thought, ‘Oh no, this is going to be great,’ but two weeks before I left, we both felt a bit sad, bittersweet, and emotional.

“A few days before I left, I found myself tearing up whenever I mentioned it or thought about it. Finneas was incredibly sweet, saying, ‘This is how it is now, but if you ever need me, I’ll hop on a plane whenever you want.’ That truly meant a lot.”

Meanwhile, Finneas is gearing up for his For Crying Out Loud! World tour, which kicks off in January. Check the full list of tour dates below and visit Here to buy tickets for the USA and Here for UK tickets.
